In the past 50 years virtually every community in western Canada has at one time or another compiled and printed a history of their community. Most of these books include several hundred pages of community stories and another several hundred pages is often devoted to family histories. As a resource to our past, these books are invaluable.

Until now, there has been no central selling system or repository of books. Each community historical society has taken it upon themselves to market their product. Some are very successful, selling out the first print run in no time and then reprinting several times again. But, others are not as quick to sell. Yourhistory.ca brings together many of the titles from BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and other regions to provide you with a broad range of historical data to purchase.
